API description: ICD API version 2. Registration, if you hold an account: icd.who.int/icdapi. Browser: MMS 2026-01. Licence: CC BY-ND 3.0 IGO.

The server asks WHO for ICD-11 release 2026-01 first. If that release does not respond, it tries 2025-01. Offline browser links on the finder use 2026-01.

ICD-10

ICD-10 titles used for search are the ICD-10 codes and titles in the official WHO ICD-10 to ICD-11 mapping tables, release files 2026-01 (10To11MapToOneCategory.txt). The ICD-10 release named on those rows is 2019. Live existence checks, when WHO credentials are available, call the ICD API at release 10/2019. Browser: ICD-10 2019.
